long slender lines
mimicking the ribbons
in a dancers hair
twisting
and
turning.
the water inside of
the glass
half empty
or
half full
of mixed
emotions:
anger
excitement
sadness
joy.
the brush
wet and full
lays down on the table
in a rest
waiting for next time.
the paper sighs,
innocence gone
its soul colored
and used to its best.
the hand touches
smiling lips
and the mind of
the artist comes
to a halt.
